Does anyone know what is supposed to cover the opening where the trunk latch release goes on the deck lid of a 1969 Eldorado? I have attached a photo. If you do if you have a picture that would be great. Thanks, Brian.

There is a small plate that attaches with 2 screws on the sides. You can see your screw holes.

Picture - maybe, when I get home. It's very similar to my 1968.
