Anyone recently have a windshield or back glass done?

Whose weather stripping have you used?

Thanks

I had both done last weekend.   Took about 4. Hours for both.   Had a moble glass guy do it that does old school. I bought my rubber from steele and he brought his own sealant.  Might have some dum dum for the stainless.

I used to swear by Steele but had lots of problems with their convertible top weatherstripping kit.

Glad to hear you had no problems.

I have a barn find '60 Eldorado Seville.  It needs the special Viodec top installed and the glass has to come out to do it.

I was worried about not being able to get a good gasket for both front and rear windscreens.

Thanks for your info.

One. Thing is to get the gasquet good,  warm, & workable

Brian, we did our 59 Fleetwood two summers ago and bought the gasket through Rubber The Right Way and what came was a Steele product. Worked fine and no leaks since even in the drive back from the GN in a monsoon for the last hour.
