Does anyone know where I can a buy a new brake proportioning valve (JM4) for my 1990 Brougham 5.7L? HELP!! Seems to be discontinued by GM and no aftermarket available in upstate NY. (I also posted in wanted section).

Do you have time to wait?  I ask because I got my original proportioning valve rebuilt by a guy in California, George at Harmon Classic Brakes.  It cost me about $100, which is roughly what a replacement one would cost for my '76.  Since the car is still in pieces I can't swear that it works right, but it sure looks good and he was pleasant to work with.

Try e-bay for an NOS, or try Cadillac King for a good used.  I have been very happy with Cadillac King delivering me good used parts over the years.
