Should the dash map light come on when opening the rear doors?  Wires from the dome light seem to head into the trunk , does the dome light come on when opening doors?  Why is the 58 such  a intricate car?

Dash light only comes on when opening front doors along with seat bottom lights (if so equipped).  Dome lights come on with rear doors.
