Hello,
I am rebuilding MC and booster on my 56 DeVille. What kind of tool you are using to clean MC rubber cup and seal place? I used sand paper, but it still looks not so shiny.
Thanks
Marius

Marius,

From the picture of the M/C it looks to be a Bendix type correct?

Just be looking at the surface on the inner and outer liners they both looked in good shape. As long as the fluid seal inside and the two outer seals fit is tight once the plunger is in place you should fine.

Sanding them with 150-200 with light pressure should be fine just to removed the surface rust. You do not want to go over board at these two areas and make them shinning were the seals are place.
Good luck..!
