I recently had a problem with my ignition switch. The car was a no start but would crank. Diagnosed with no spark. Apparently the under dash wiring from the ignition switch to the coil was loose and rusted. Once cleaned and tightened it appears to work just fine for now. There is a possibility the ignition switch itself may need to be replaced. Can this switch be rebuilt and or is there NOS switches out there somewhere?

The odds of finding a NOS ignition switch are quite poor. Even finding used ones these days is a rare occasion As long as you've got yours clean and tight, it ought to keep on working for some time. What your plan is now is to find another used one for a spare. Try Marty Watkins in Langhorn, PA, or rummage around the last week or so on the Forum and find Eddie Jones' phone #. Good luck.
