Hello all,  I'm hoping someone can help, my gas gauge kinda works... when I fill up the tank it ready 3/4 it goes down to 1/4 with half full.... so it does move as the gas level changes. It stays steady when turning.... it just does not work right.  Any ideas?

Thanks!!

Possibly bent float arm, but probably gunked up rheostat  in sender. Its a lot of work to pull the tank and (most likely have to) replace the sender. IMHO it seems like something you might learn to live with.
