The Twilite does not operate in my dark garage when I try to turn it on with the little tab on the light switch. I had the radiator replaced before I got the car. What are the odds that the mechanic may have undone or moved the photo cell on the grill cradle?Any suggestions?

This is on my 1981 Seville. In checking my shop manual there is usually a "what to do if..." page, but I can't seem to locate one for this problem.

Isn't the Twilight Sentinal sensor inset into the top of the Dash Board?   The Auto Headlight Dipping sensor is behind the Grille.

I know it is on the '72 Eldorado.

Very likely the photocell is bad. However, you usually can't just replace the photocell because the photocell and the control box have to be calibrated. I do rebuild those units.

Thanks for the reply, and I'll check things out after lunch. I thought you did work on those units, Tim. I'll take the loss at the GN and make that a winter project.
