Not my first time posting about this, but it was some time ago. Would anybody know how to make, retrofit a tool without spending a ton of money on a whole kit from the tool dealers to remove the tapered pin from the low reverse shift shaft?

Problem solved. Drilled very small hole in tapered pin and threaded in machine screw. Threaded a dent puller on through oil fill hole and got it out. Hope this helps somebody in the future.

Adding to my previous post. The tapered pin was original with machine threads on the end so some sort of tool could be threaded on to pull it out. Mine in its past, had been excessively hammered on. That caused the threads to be smashed and unusable.
