I'm no expert but based on the type of locks I'm gonna say 77-8x  RWD.

It is a DeVille wheelcover used from 1976-1984.

Lock style changed in 1981 but the covers can still be installed on post-1980 cars.

Do you have the key?

**Prior to 1980, locks were optional and installed by the dealer only.

I do have the key. These came along as what we thought were an extra set of wheels when we bought our 1985 Seville a few years ago. They were stacked together and wrapped. We never took a look at them until today - Surprise! The covers we have now (which I assume are correct) have the emblem with the red center. Thanks for the info, guys!

The Eldo Seville covers from that era are different because of the wheel offset for the FWD.   They also have the lock style where there is a single keyed bolt in the center that threads into a 'tin' cone thing that straddles the hub and is held by 3 lug nuts with special flanges on em.

I'm not sure about the RWD ones but the FWD ones come apart and the spokes which are some sort of cast material are individual and held in by the big center cap thing so they can be fairly easily replaced if you have some broken or missing ones and a spare cap around.

The other thing that amazes me about those covers in the picture is how heavy they are.   First time I took em off my 78 (after figuring out how those locks worked) I figured they had to be packed solid with mud because they were so heavy.    How much money did they spend in engineering shaving what 75 pounds off the weight of the 425 engine to save materials and fuel and then put it all back on with wheel covers?
