Hello!
I am working on a 1930 v-16 Cadillac and I had a question on the build sheet and what the code means for "tire covers" .   It mentions under extra equipment that it should have "2 tire covers a-562" does this mean the metal covers or cloth covers?

I appreciate any and all suggestions and information!

Best regards,
Matt P.

Hi Matt,

According to a June 15, 1932 Accessory Price List, code A-562 corresponded to "7.50x19 Patent Leather with Emblem" fabric spare tire cover for 1930-31 V-16, and the installed price was $7.00.

I got the accessory price list from the GM Heritage Center vehicle information kits at gmheritagecenter.com.

What type of 1930 V-16?  Does the rest of the build sheet make sense to you?

Best regards,

Chris Cummings
