Problems converting 56 treadle vac tovacuum booster.

 I got it all mounted up, didn't work. Upon closer inspection the treadle vac seems to operate on what looks to be barely 2:1 pedal ratio. I'll have to re-engineer the rod locating points at the pedal arm and bell crank.

I have never looked close at Cadillac but several other makes Pontiac, Packard, Olds I think had them mounted under the steering column and the rod pretty much connected to the pedal right behind the pad so they were pretty much direct.   I don't know if they were the same unit or not but if those guys were working 1:1 I would not think Cadillac did a lot different.
