55 sport coupe

i just rebuilt my 331  but my transmission rebuild is going slowly. is there an adapter out there that can bolt up to a turbo 400 or  another transmission that pairs with a 331 v8? im in the weeds here its the last piece to this puzzle, any help is appreciated
