My 60 convertible needs complete new interior. Years ago, I contacted Jenkins, but have I heard that they are no longer in business. Does anyone know? Has anyone done business with them lately? Any comments?...........Does anyone know an equal interior firm who supplies the interior for my car?...Thanks !!!...Bill Muse

Try contacting them again. About a month and a half ago, there was a discussion which ended with the principal at Jenkins asserting that he was still in business. As far as I know, there is no other firm doing interiors other than individual ones that you will find locally.

Don't know if the shop is still operational, but I do know that the family sold off his collection after Lewis passed. I have his '67 CDV and a friend of mine has the '55 and '56.

The earlier mentioned thread did substantiate continued operations.  That said, a reconfirmation from you after trying to contact them would be appreciated.

As an aside, I had a complete new white leather with vinyl bolsters interior sewn up in the correct leather and sewing patterns for My 1972 Eldorado convertible this year by Pro/Fit Auto Interiors  256 358 6499 for $ 1,340.00 shipped and then I had My local trim Man install them , I receive compliments on it all the time.

Wow 1300 seems like a great price, on a 60 Cadillac you cant buy the leather hides for that. Plan on 15K for a quality job on a 60.

Yes , because I am poor after much discussion I went ahead and ordered and was pleasantly surprised when they arrived and my trim man was impressed also. I just had them not add backrest  buttons and rescued the ones from the original seats as those are '71 and '72 eldo only buttons. Should anyone care I can elaborate on the process I used. Again the results look and feel like I spent three times as much.
