Could I get some guidance on what this part is and how it is mounted with which side facing out?
Thanks in advance.

Possibly roof rail interior lamp housings?

Only a guess...

Hard to judge size looking at it on my phone, but could also be map light housing.

Thanks. It's 6 1/8" long by 1 3/4" wide if this helps.

It should be noted this type of lamp housing only on DeVille models, possibly Eldorado Seville as well.

Series 62 cars had a single circular dome lamp housing in center of roof.

Disregard my earlier post - senior moment.  ::)

However, something is still not right. Series 62 closed cars are supposed to have a single dome light in center of the roof.

These would be for Series 63 (DeVille) or Series 64 (Eldorado) closed models located on each side of the roof/headliner. As mentioned Series 62 models only had a single dome light in the middle of the roof that looked very different. Check the Style number on your vehicle to check what model you have on the data plate below the drivers side windshield/top of the firewall. Example; a Coupe DeVille would be 6337 while a Series 62 Coupe would read 6237, so the 2 first numbers indicate the Series.
