Hello everyone. Yesterday, the water pump seal and bearing went out on my stepdads 1959 Cadillac series 62 convertible. I think that rebuilding it will be the best option. I am a little leery of the rebuilt/exchange water pumps out there online. Money is not a problem this time because this inst my car. So, who is the best water pump re-builder for these old 390 water pumps?
It must be water pump season at my house.. I just had to replace the water pump on my 72' Cadillac a few months back.
Oh well.

As always, thanks for the help.

John Washburn CLC 1067 Sadly deceased.

I've used this rebuilder "The Flying Dutchman" for over 20 years and never had a problem.

Another excellent rebuilder is the Arthur Gould Company, King's Park NY.  I have used them several times with great results.
