Hey folks,

does anyone know the factory charcoal canister location on a 1971 RWD?  I'm piecing the car back together and I surprisingly couldn't find anything located in the shop manual.

Thanks in advance,

Brett

Its been a while but I am thinking it was left side in front of the core support, kinda opposite the battery.

Hello. This is from my 72' Deville, should be the same as 71'.
Ignore the red arrow, this picture was to show someone some vacuum line routing. The charcoal canister is the round thing on the inside of the core support with the two rubber hoses connecting to it.

Good luck

Looks like my memory was a bit off.   I thought it was in front of the core support.
