Think I got caught with too much time since disassembly and not enough pictures!  Does anyone have a picture they can post of how the brown rubber extrusion seal mounts between the column shroud and the dash?  I have a nice new part from Steele and a good guess, but want to get this right.

Thanks!
Paul

Are you talking about the seal top and bottom of the split cover that seals the top housing and the bracket holding it to the dash Paul? If so this fits over the top and bottom sharp edges of the split cover.

I think we are talking about the same thing.  Here is a picture of the area in question - not snugged up yet until this seal question is answered.  Also a picture of the seal.  New one and the one I took off look same.  This seal does not lend itself to going over the edge of the cover.  It is more of a cover for a gap.  A picture of this properly installed on someone's car would be a big help!

Thanks

Ah, thats a different arrangement altogether than other series cars Pail. The split cover on other columns don't touch the dash at that point. A 60S detail only. Sorry, can't help.
