I am wondering if anyone has a good method for shipping larger parts to Australia economically? The post office wont ship anything larger that 40". I am trying to ship a trunk trim and fed ex quoted almost $600.00. There has to be other ways to ship this cheaper. If anybody can shed some light I would appreciate it. Thanks, brian.

Try the guys below, I know they accept parcels that go with their containers to Scandinavia maybe they do for Australia as well. They are car people and have been in business for over 30 years.

Give John Flemming in Sydney a call on 0400 295295. I last used him a few years ago but his prices and service were excellent. He "back-loads" (i.e., fills the boot and back seat of cars he is importing) with your parts. He used to deliver to Parramatta Road in Ashfield but I don't even know if he is still in business. Try him.
