I'm redoing the interior of my 5267.  My question involves the floor covering.  It is my understanding, somewhat supported by the interior picture of a 5267 in VanGeldern/Larson's book, that the primary floor covering in the original car is rubber with a cutout on each side for carpet.  And, it appears the rear floor is all carpet, the same as in the cutout.  Can anyone confirm or explain what the original floor covering was?  Pictures would be helpful if available.

I think you will find the carpet sections were bonded in to the cut-outs and they rotted away first. Bob's Automobilia used to sell these for Buicks which will fit as they used the same Fisher body.

There was a previous thread discussing this.  Not sure where it is but it wasn't too long ago.

I believe this is the thread Brad is referencing.  Bob's sells the rubber mat, but you would need to insert the carpet.  Lebaron Bonney and go liners also provide a fully carpeted version, but make sure the buy a little extra carpet for the side of the seat and the footrest.
