Nice view of a 1942 Series 67 limo driving into a garage last night on Turner Classic Movies. Think it was "Murder My Sweet."
It may have been a black-out model as there was little chrome showing. There was a 1941 Buick facing out in this scene parked in the garage, but when they switched to a different view, you could see part of the Cadillac and a hint of a 1942 Limited limo (by the skirt trim.)
Gary, this was a really unusual combination. The last time I saw a 1942 Buick Ltd was (I think) two of them at the South Bend (IN) Buick GN.

Hi Barry,

I was watching the same movie too, and I was trying to figure those cars out. Thanks very much!

Cheers,

Since I have a 1942 series 67 I would like to see that and try to get some clips of it.  I do not know the Buick Ltd.  Is that a series 90,  the series 90 was the same body as the Cadillac 67 series.

You are correct, Gary. I may have mis-spoke about "Limited." It was the Series 90 for 1941 and 1942, with the same body as the Series 67.

There are also a couple of good shots of a '42 or '46-'49 Series 75 in Alfred Hitchcock's Strangers on a Train.

You don't need to apologize Barry. the 90 series Buick was indeed called the 'Limited'.

1942 was the last year for the Limited until 1958.  It was series 90 and 91.
