Could anyone advise me on a way to determine how many cars were painted in a particular color scheme?  I have a 1957 Coupe de Ville which is painted Dusty Rose & white.  It came with a leather & cloth interior.  The leather is almost pink of course it doesn't help if you are color blind.  Thanks for any assistance you may be able to provide.

Not really without going through every build sheet for the year.  I have come across specs as to percentages of color families in previous model years.  Like maroon and green were popular in the '40s.  I've never seen anything specific to 1957.

My '57 is Mountain Laurel with the same interior as yours.  Pinks were fairly popular for that brief period.

I have a dream that one day all those build records will be digitized and made available for research by enthusiasts. When that happens we'd be able to generate all kinds of statistics like this as well as answer many other questions.
