'60 Eldo rocker trim fasteners

Anyone know whether the forwardmost fasteners for the rocker trim on a '60 Eldo are held on by bolts or by screws?  I'm referring to the tabs that attach in the bottom edge of the front fender.  I'm assuming the choices are the same screws used for the remainder of the piece (from the front door back), or some small bolts, which in either case must attach to some type of "U" or "J" nut that slips on the bottom edge of the front fender.

David,

There's a z shaped bracket on the bottom of the front fender and the same on the quarter panel.

Clips will work.

I'm not near my car but I can snap photos early next week

Brian:

Just to be clear, I'm talking about where the trim attaches to the bottom of the car; the screws in question are perpendicular to the ground.  I'm not talking about the "hanger brackets" that hold the top edges of the trim.

David,

They are self tapping bolts with a 3/8 or possible 7/16 head.

Not screws.

Everything I took off of my Seville was an original fastener and I remember that those had hex heads.  They are not too long either, just long enough to grab.

Brian:

Thanks.  I'm guessing 3/8 since there's not a lot of clearance, but I'll see what I can fit.
