anybody know if steering shaft was tempered steel?
may need to weld so info would be appreciated

Wayne,
  A simple spark test will show if the shaft is heat treated. Also,running a file across the metal will show the hardness.....wonder where you plan on welding and why....walt...tulsa,ok
