I am working on my 76 Eldorado Bicentennial...does anyone know:

-Carpet is referred to as "Dark Firethorn"  and I can only find "Firethorn" (code 835) replacement carpet.  Are they the same?  Is Dark Firethorn called something else now?  The Firethorn looks more orange that the Dark Firethorn, but hard to tell from photos.  Any advice?

-The GM upgraded leather in '76 was a "White Sierra Grain" leather.  I've looked at various whites and various sierra grain leathers but can't seem to find the right color in Sierra grain.  Anyone know a source or name of the GM white leather from '76?

Thanks!!

Brian,

Thanks for your response.  I've been on that site and have contacted the admin.  Nothing yet.

Do you or anyone else know of experts with '70s GM interiors?

Thanks.

On my old '73 Caprice, I found a manufacturer's label on the bottom side of the carpeting.  Maybe you will get lucky and find the same.

After I removed the passenger side sill plate, I peeled the carpeting back and it was right there.
