Hi Guys,

I am looking to obtain a set of spare wheels for my 57 CDV. As I am in the UK it's not that easy to get the correct information from people selling old wheels.
Could someone advise of the stud pattern and which wheels if any, will fit from newer or older Cadillac models.
Failing that are there any Chevy, Ford etc. wheels that may fit. They will only be used for sitting on over winter.

Thanks

Bolt pattern is the standard large GM 5x5". Wheels from any full size GM rwd car 1957 and up will work.

It may be any RWD Cadillac but GM also used a lot of 4.75's too.    A 57 Chev for example was 4.75.    A 57 Pontiac was 5 but a 14" wheel.   Later it did seem that the 'full size' stuff was 5 and the 'mid size' was the 4.75 but even there was not always for sure.    I remember finding out the 15" wheels of my friends 77 Delta 88 fit my 82 Regal that had 14" 4.75's.

Are/were Chev or GMC full size trucks popular there?   I don't know when they started but for sure by the 1970's the 2x4 1/2 ton trucks had a 5 on 5 15" wheel.   I know that lasted till at least the mid 90's.    Earlier was 6 lug as was 4x4.   3/4 ton could go 5 lug or 8 depending on GVW.
