Folks,

Fellow member needs 4 to 5 new wheels for his 59 Cadillac 62 Series. The old ones along with the studs are bad - really bad.

My MPL from 1969 shows fitment as:

1957 thru 1958 â€" Series 60 Special and 62 Series, Except 6237SDX and 67SX; then 1959 thru 1960, except the 75 series and Commercial Cars.

I assume that lots of wheels will work but the hub cap may not?

Any advice? We have a 63 Cad Series 62 Parts car but not sure the hub caps will fit.

The Johnny

Where on the wheel is the part # stamped? I have a couple that are not compatable with disc brakes. they arw marked 15x6L then below it says 02 64 at angles. I don't see ankther part # on them resembling what you have posted.
Let me know if you can use them.

Hello John

Glad to read your buddy is improving his Cadillac.

1959-1960 Cadillac Series 62, 63 & 64 are exclusive.  In your neck of the woods I would call Desert Valley Auto Parts.

61-64 rims are deeper dished and slightly wider at the outside edge to accommodate the deep hubcaps.

You have to demount one but there should be numbers stamped inside the rim.   You'll want to match those at the part yard.   Some of the other makes used the same rims so may not necessarily have to be Cad.  Rim stock was only made in one mill for everyone.
But you said the studs were bad, did you mean the brake drum and spindle not the wheel?   Studs should be readily available at the parts store.

Thanks for all the input.

Problem is now resolved.

Thanks
