Tips on removing 60 driveshaft ???

I have the trans out and the driveshaft is unbolted from the carrier along with the center mount bolts removed. Manual says to pull out from the rear but Im having a time due to the center pieces hanging. I do not want to damage it so any proper advice or tricks would be much appreciated.

The only way to remove it is to support the front of the rear shaft upwards, to allow the centre bearing to clear the inner lip of the crossmember.

As you are pulling it out, you might have to reach forward, and lift the front yoke up and over the front of the crossmember.
