Does anyone have a suggestion as to how best to correct a faulty horn?  It never works as intended, but if you keep punching the air bag's horn logo, eventually it might sound...  Several auto repair shops in my area shy away from such a repair, or flat out decline to even start.  Is the repair that daunting????

Thanks!  Tom Hitchcock, CLC 2212

Firstly, I would be testing the horn with a jumper wire direct to the battery.

It sounds like the problem will be in the actual horn button, as if the horn works sometimes, then it is occasionally getting power.

The vibrations that you are giving to the horn button could be simply shaking the wiring at the contact point?
