Barry M Wheeler #2189

I mowed the lawn yesterday afternoon, and to do so, I have to move the Seville out of the garage. When I went to put it back in, I noticed that the LH mirror was bare. (That's where I put my Primary First Badge.) I had visions of a fifty dollar bill floating off into the sunset. (That's the cost to replace your First Place Badge.) I looked in the grass... Nothing. Then went into the garage, and there on the floor was the badge.

I couldn't recall what tape I used on the '79 badge, which has stayed on OK for years now. I had purchased some double-sided tape at Wal-Mart, but as I found out, it was wanting. So, I'm going to check around again, and for now, the badge resides in the ashtray. Fools and drunks? Anyhow, don't use cheap tape on your badge. (You do have to have it to have the car judged in Senior classes.)

The best double-sided tape to use is what the bodyworks use to re-attach the late model badges to cars they are working on.

These badges don't have attaching pins, and once attached, they never come off, unless they are taken off.
