What's the trick to changing the fender mounted front turn signal indicator bulbs of a 1960?

I know there is a concealed screw under a part of the assembly but how does that little section pop out to get to the screw?

Photo is of some spare parts I have laying around.

Thanks

You are showing the screw to undo.

If you get underneath the front fender, you will see a diecast stud poking downwards, just behind the lamp socket base, and you will see that there is a speed-nut on the peg.

This needs undoing, and the cover will lift upwards, with a lug at the back (front of car) , retaining the back in place.

I would not have thought that.
I did look in the manual but it says nothing about that.

Thanks, a pic would be helpful.

Your wish is my command, but I couldn't stop at one.

I think it is best to replace the speed nut when putting it back together to keep the grit and dirt out from entering underneath and filling the socket with muck.
