Hi all, this is my first post, I'm from Norway and drive a 57 eldorado Seville.
This morning my front brake started acting up, all or a sudden it pulled hard to the left and making a horrible sound from the brakes.
I drove it home and had it on my lift, taking the left drum off, but cant se anything wrong, good brakelinings all the bits and pieces in place,  when i back up slowly and wery gently push the brake pedal it locks the wheel on the left.
Any ideas?

Sounds like the cylinder is stuck.  I bleed my brakes every year because I had a simile situation.

Bleeding is essential. Every time we use the brakes a small amount of air containing minute amounts of moisture are introduced into the system eventually causing corrosion on the internal metal surfaces. It depends on usage and humidity in your location when  it is necessary but don't stretch it out or you will have a mess. Think of brake fluid an lubricant for the interior of your brake system

For me it is the brake hose that is no good anymore .Possibly it is blocked inside so the oil cannot go back anymore .

I agree with that assumption as,well.  In any case, I'd be looking at the entire system--cylinders, hoses, return springs...
