Doug Houston, one of the real "Old-Timers" of the Cadillac and LaSalle Club, passed away several months ago.  He had a huge collection of antique radios and phonographs, and several unusual Cadillacs, including a 1941 Series 62 Coupe with air conditioning, one of only a few still existing.  He also had a 1938 V-16 Coupe, one of 8 built.  Those cars and several others, including a 1939 V-16 sedan, are being auctioned at his home on Tuesday, September 20.  The auction is being handled by a local estate auction company and is not being advertised heavily.  I hope some CLC members will take notice and not let these cars go unnoticed.  Go to  http://braunandhelmer.com/?es_feed_target=http%3A//www.GoToAuction.com/feed/es_c1002.php%3Fes_id%3D1333%26id%3D23726%26feed_type%3D200%26es_cfid%3D3522 to see the auction details.

There is a small ad for it in the most recent "Old Cars Weekly".  I'd like to see some of the audio equipment he collected.

I opened up the auction link and there are tons of photos.  You have to scroll all the way down past the cars then the antique radios start showing up.  I wanted to see the 70 DeVille convertible but that one looks pretty rough, maybe better once it was hauled out of the barn and cleaned off.  Hey, only 15,761 made, now we know where another one is.
