hey,

Can any of you guys recommend a reputable shop to rebuild my dual Carter carburetors?

These guys have been highly reccomended on the forum in the past. I'm sending Our dual quad setup out to them this winter.

Guys,

Dayton has closed down. They did my '66 carb - great job - closed not long afterward. I haven't found why or any further information.

I don't know if they are still rebuilding or just selling parts, but I contacted them a couple of weeks ago about a tri power vacuum switch and got a prompt response, so they are still in business.

I have seen a few references for http://forums.cadillaclasalleclub.org/index.php?topic=134933.msg295412#msg295412
Carburetor USA in the forms.  while not specific to the dual set up but Rochester's anyway.

I used a place in Southern Calif and well I thing the gas should stay inside a carb and their rebuild half is already yellow and gunky (very tech term) so I am still trying to figure out the hesitation.
