Hello all,

http://chicago.craigslist.org/chc/cto/5745193768.html

Not mine, and I'm not sure what the circumstances were that lead to it. But I think it's kinda cool.

Terry thanks for posting, that is a lot of work in that car and it looks like a decent job.  The removable hardtop makes it an all season car.

Yes, it took a lot of work, the scale is all wrong.  Huge rear end, large front end, but the middle is small.

I still see a T-Bird.

Not for me.

Cool concept but you are right, the scale is all wrong.

Designers can make these cars look right by stretching panels and making changes in the proportions of the car.

This one could have been much better.

Looks like whoever made this started with a 1956 T-Bird, judging by the picture of the data plate.  Not much of the T-Bird remains though.

He ruined a Thunderbird and made a lousy Cadillac.

Not for me and I think you would have to look long and hard to find the person that this appeals to.

Hello all,

I wonder what they are saying on the Thunderbird forums!

The cornering and parking lights look like the ones on my '67, and the split grill seems to herald the Pontiac engine under the hood.  To each his own.

Friends, I've seen it and this one is MUCH cooler 'in the flesh' than in the pictures.  Dash was modified (nicely!) to fit as well.  If exclusivity is your thing, you would definitely have the only one...

You can tell a lot of work went into the car and although it looks unique, it is cool to me.  The hardtop is nice.
