I would love to find more out about this one.

Can anyone direct me to someone or to a website where I might be able to find more out about this car?

I was told by the seller that she is a 1937 Cadillac Fleetwood 75 Limousine, but there is very little in the way of paperwork that came with the car. I would love to know how many were produced, if there is a historical record of who owned this particular one and anything else that I can find out.

It does have a roll up glass window between the driver and passenger compartment, as well as some grab handles, jump seats and ornate light fixtures in it that are not in my 1939 Fleetwood 75 5 passenger sedan.

Here are a couple of pics of the car and the data tag on the firewall.

Any help will be greatly appreciated!

Well, from the body plate its a 1939 75 series Formal 7 passenger sedan. Not a 1937.  I read somewhere production was only in the 50 range but don't quote me and it will be very hard to trace previous owners.  A build sheet from Allied Vaughn might help yo a little, and I stress 'a little'

I agree with Steve. The tail light is '39 not '37. The interesting thing though is the three horizontal strips on the front fenders would have been added on and are normally found on a V 16 of the same era. The V 16 would have had those strips on  all four fenders.      Harry

Thanks guys!

I appreciate your help! Is there an online resource for deciding the data tag, or do you guys just know from experience?

Well for a start the data tag reads 39 7559. That means (39)1939. (75)75 series. and 59 which is the designation for the 7 passenger formal sedan.
Body number is where it was in the production line, 23 out of however many were made.
Not sure on 39 trim number 4907, possibly grey cloth in the back and leather in the front.
6W means 6 wheel model.

Jared,

The codes are found in the Cadillac Master Chassis and Cadillac Master Body parts books.

52 - Antoinette Blue
4907 - Gray Plain Cloth

The "Gray Plain Cloth" would have been in the rear compartment only with black leather in the front.  Steve, you are spot on in your guess!

All other codes are as Steve mentioned.

Thanks for that Jeff, my master parts book doesn't show the 39 codes for some reason.

Jared,

Another online resource you may find helpful is from the GM Heritage Center:

https://www.gmheritagecenter.com/gm-heritage-archive/vehicle-information-kits.html

Click the word "Show" next to the Cadillac heading and then select "1939 Cadillac".  The download is rather large so be patient.  Should be some good information in that download (like the salesman's data book) that may help you.

Jeff
