I'm replacing my muffler and tail pipe. I have the tail pipe off . can the muffler and exhaust pipe be removed together or do I have to cut the muffler where it joins over the exhaust pipe ? I'm going to use my same exhaust pipe . thanks john

You cannot pull the muffler through the front hole in the chassis and nor can you pull all the front bends the other way through the chassis with the muffler attached so yes, if its welded in place it will have to be cut, then you weld a slightly larger piece of pipe over the front end with some slots and use a clip on the join when replacing it.
