I have a 39 Lasalle and the black insulation/sound deadening black cardboard/felt is falling apart.  I can find plenty of modern materials but not the original type of stuff.

Do you know who sells it?

Thanks

No, I just bought a similar product from California Pontiac it looks good but is only .040 thick.

I found this highly recommended on multiple forums

Bob Drake (Ford parts in OR) also has this material.  Can't get a link because their site does not work with the latest Microsoft stuff but the part number is B-5010-F30.  I have used it often.  It is excellent material but pricey.

Bob Drake Ford - I have heard you can buy the thicker and separate the two layers, but I bought the more thin.

Brad, how do you stick the material from Bob Drake to the surface?  That looks a lot like some material I got a long time ago and I had trouble finding a glue to stick it and the layers came apart. Thanks, Tom

I use a commercial upholstery glue I get from the guy that does my upholstery work. He buys in 5 gal cans and I just get some so don't have a brand name.  It is a yellow contact type glue.  It works with no issues.
