49 Sedanette

Hi All,

I just bought a 1951 Fleetwood and I want to ask for guidance as to how the fog lights should work. I know the lights did not came with the car originally and a forme owner, great friend of mine, installed, them, but he never finished the installation.

I have seen that in my 1949, you turn on the lights and once they are on, you rotate a separate switch and lights go on. But on this 1951, what would appear to be the extra switch is not a switch but only a dummy knob. Perhaps it was changed? So, should it work the same way I described for 1949? In case I need to look for a switch, what model years would use the same switch?

Thanks
