Hello,
I'm buying a new hood pad for under the hood.   The vendor asked me which clips I wanted to fasten the hood pad ?     I thought the pad was just glued, but maybe the correct procedure is to use some type of clip ?

Thanks for any help, SHalver 1960 Eldorado Seville CLC #24920

Scott:

I do not believe clips were used in these cars. Mine is glued, with no clips.

Hello David & Brian,
Thank you for your responses.................  just didn't know and when the vendor asked about "clips" I was at a loss.   I will use glue !

Spray adhesive is what is needed for the job.

Make absolutely certain the hood is 100% cleaned of oil and grease.
