Hello All ,

I came across this picture on the internet . I could not help but wonder what was happening to the cars in this area . Any input would be fun and appreciated .

  Thanks,
      Bill

This was the area where little things needed doing as the cars came off the production line. I have seen this picture before. I once visited the Jaguar factory here in the UK where they had a department just like it and there were at least 50 cars in there at any one time having imperfections sorted out.

Boy, there must have been something really wrong with the stripped down Convertible in the foreground.

Is it possible that the car in the foreground is a newly built commercial chassis?

I seem to recall that they were shipped out with most of the parts in boxes for use of the builder.

Great picture, though.

I like the two guys standing between the black Cadillacs watching the girl walking by. ;D

Several cars seem to have the rear end jacked up.  Wonder what their problems were?

Notice the length of the open pit.   Wouldn't happen these days.
