Gents,
A quick question. I have a '73 Eldorado with a cracked dash. I also have a dash from a '72 Eldorado in very nice shape. Will the '72 dash fit in my'73? They look the same. Except the '72 doesn't have the perforated area for the in car temp sensor.

My '72 has the perforations for the in-car sensor.

The '71 doesn't have it, so you might have a '71 Dash top.

Bruce,
You  're probably right I'm not really sure of the year. I was told it was a '72. This is my first foray into to Cadillac so I'm not to hip on all the differences from year to year yet. Thanks to guys like you I'm learning. Before I bought my Eldorado I was into corvairs. As much as I love corvairs I must say the Eldorado is MUCH nicer.
P.S. do you think the '71 dash will fit the '73?

Don't know if the '71 dash top will fit or not but you do need the temp sensor for the AC to work properly.

The 71' Dash should interchange with the 73'. 1971-1973 Cadillacs interchange a lot of interior/exterior parts.

Best of luck

Thanks Gavin. That was the answer I was looking for.
