1953 hubcaps

have 1953 series 62 sedan   lost two hubcaps  (don't think they were correct)

so now I need get get 2 or 4 more

question

will other years fit on 53 rims

Were your hubcaps a dog dish style (covers just the centre) or a full wheel cover?  1953 full wheel covers were a one year only wheel cover?

The ones on the rear are correct for 1953.  Are you looking to match those ones or the ones on the front?

the hubcap on the back the air plug does not match up thought these we wrong ones!

while the front does?

will have to look and see which ones let go and which stayed

would like to have hubcaps that went with 53

The original '53 caps require a bent valve stem extension to line up the hole in the hubcap with the stem in the rim.  They are difficult to find and yes, are one year only.  I can post a pic if you need one.

I saw a set of stem extensions on eBay once for $400

I have the valve stems extension and a few original hub caps, driver quality.

I optioned my CDV with the wire wheels.
