I would like to confirm how many V-12 engines were built until the last one in 1937.

I thought only 450 were built but this may be true only for the last production year of 1937.

The Cadillac LaSalle Shop Manual for 1937 reports Engine Numbers 4130001 and up. My V-12 engine number is 4130302.

My 2005 International Membership Directory reports 477 for 1937 alone.

Thank you,

Hi Ty: Looks like 10,903 were built during the seven years of the V-12   Bill

I get a slightly different number in my research books than Wikipedia, not that it matters.
