1955 headlite switch

is the headlite switch for a 55 Cad the same for cars with or without foglights? thanks, Dave

The switch is the same, but fog light equipped cars have an additional switch added to the headlight switch assembly. I 've seen these on ebay occasionally

And, of course, the shaft for the knob is longer when the switch for fog lamps is added.

Roger good point. Same as on our '56s as they also have a longer shaft if fog box equipped, as it extends the length of the switch. They are quite a bit longer. Clay/Lexi
