1992 Cadillac Allante

Hi, I need a muffler for my 1992 Allante and can't find a direct fit anywhere online or at the auto stores. Any suggestions? Thanks

I just did a quick check of a few places I have found that usually have odd stuff like that and they don't have a listing either.  Any idea what is unique about that model?    What happened to yours?   I have heard of unique hard to replace mufflers being repaired.

thanks for checking, mine is splitting at the seam, and its getting loud. The GM part number says its the same muffler 87-92. There is only one model of the Allante, some sites ask if its a base or a value leader, but they are all the same.

I suppose that was a car that came with a stainless exhaust system?   So they almost never needed to be replaced back when they were all still on the road so that means there was never many 'spares' floating around?   And now not enough demand for someone to bother making one?

I bought a catalytic converter from this guy for my '91 Allante a few years back, and it was exactly right. He'll most likely have your muffler in stock:
