Hi,
Just received my bumpers back from Knox Chrome Plating. They look great.
My question is what  do I treat the backside of the bumper with?

Thanks,
Rich Iannelli

Rich,

On my 37 LS I painted the back with a silver paint to prevent rust. This does not draw attention to the paint since the bumpers are chrome. In my experience most folks use the silver paint.

But that is my opinion.

I agree John. I believe they would have come from the factory with a chrome-like finish where they were not polished on the back but the chrome would have thrown there during the process.

I picked up some "chrome" rustoleum paint.

Now I need some bumper bolts.  Any suggestions?

Thank you for your advice,
