Hi, Does anyone have pictures of a 1964 Cadillac painted in Matador Red(Metallic)?

From when new.   Not "resale red" like so many you see today.

Is this more of a 'regular' red?  I thought it would be more of a brownish-red.

You can't go by the shade of the colors on those internet color chart photos.  Most of them are off in tint due to the scanners or camera lighting.

Here are pictures of a '64 Cadillac ambulance.  This color might be Matador Red or Firemist Red.

Does 1964 Cadillac Matador Red Metallic (Code 50) have a slight brown tint like the '64 Ambulance in the above pictures?

As David said, internet images should not be relied upon in making visual determinations about color. Further complicating matters is whether the car had been repainted which throws another host of variables into the mix.

Thanks for posting this picture!

Is there any hint of brown in the 64 Firemist Red or the 64 Matador Red?
