ive got bubbles in sight glass on fuel pump, but the car runs  great has plenty of gas. also a bubble in master cylinder and I ve got a leak somewhere . any advice appreciated john

The glass fuel filter does NOT have to be completely filled to operate. If it is running fine, you dont have a problem

Bubbles in the brake master cylinder??? You will have to explain more about what you are trying to describe.

You have leak from WHERE??  Brakes? radiator?
The Brake system should never leak fluid. If your brake system is losing brake fluid the source must be identified and repaired before the car ever moves again. . . .

Please explain how you would know there is a bubble in the master cylinder? You can't see in there. Do you mean air in the lines?
Thanks
Jeff

If you're looking into the master cylinder while someone else is pressing the pedal you will see the fluid bulge up. It's natural when the fluid is returning, it's not necessarily air. Can't see how air could get in there anyway. Pressure from the fluid will push fluid out first, not pull air in.

I drove the car and felt like pedal was way down, came back and master cylinder fluid was out. I filled it up and with the top off you could see a bubble every 2 seconds or so. I have to find the leak .

With no visible signs of a leak, you need to pull all the drums as the leaks can be severe from the wheel cylinders long before you see the signs of it ruining your linings.

Because it is a safety item there is no halfway fix or repair to a brake system.
If you have any problem you need to carefully examine every component of the entire system.

Master cylinder - can leak out the back where the pedal rod inserts
Metal lines - can crack and rust . Moisture/rust likely behind the clips that hold the tubing to the frame.
Rubber hoses - can crack and seep but more likely they will burst. They can also collapse inside and plug up and not pass fluid.
Wheel cylinders - They can leak BEHIND the outer cups/covers. The outer covers need to be pulled back to find leaks.

Brake issues? No way around it ya gotta; Jack it up, follow all the lines and pull all four wheels.
