I wish I could say that I am some sort of photography genius -- wouldn't it be nice to be so talented?  But the truth is that I have an ordinary cell phone, in this case a Samsung Galaxy Note 5 that is about 3 years old.  I recently updated the software on the phone and after that I found that it had a panorama option when taking photos.  So I stood on the parking deck upper level and took the shot, slowly panning from left to right to take in the whole show field.  Then the camera stitched the whole thing together into one photo.  Amazing!

I was amazed at the level of detail that it captured from a simple cell phone, over such a wide area, from a good distance away.  Remarkable.

WOW !  Art you made it look easy.

I'm still battling with my old flip phone so, your about 10 years ahead of me.

It was cool that I could scan around your photo to lock in on the cars I wanted to see.

Thanks again !!

Neat picture!  That is my "Big Red" (about 2/3s of it with the ladies standing in front of it) on the far left.  Big Red drove home to Florida carrying a Second in Class award in Modified Class M-2.  Very pleased, proud, and flattered to win an award at the Grand National going up against the quality cars in M-2 that were there.

Big Red, and the other modified cars nearby (mostly from Georgia!) were very impressive.  Wonderful cars, done with class and care.

Hello all,

The M2 modified class (restomods) was an amazing group of cars.  All were done "to the nines".  The judging team will be sending comments to Bill Anderson in hopes of improving the judging process next year.  Thanks to all the M2 class participants for bringing their magnificent cars the the GN.

If anyone needs a 700 R4. let me know.

I saw you guys drive in with your 1930s cars!    WOW!   Very impressive!

Very nice pics D.Smith!  I took all the same pictures... I could have saved time by just waiting for yours!

The Modified cars were astounding...  I think most of them were at the Weston where i was staying.  They were drawing a crowd there!  I met Max (one of the GA guys) at the Weston lobby Starbucks...  Very nice guy!

It's funny what a panoramic picture does with people/things that are moving.   :o
